Pitt was released by Boston at the end of last season |
Cambridge United have signed former Boston United winger Courtney Pitt. The 23-year-old, released by Boston at the end of last season, has agreed a short-term deal at the Abbey Stadium after impressing during a trial spell.
"I'm looking to add quality to the squad and Courtney has a very good pedigree," manager Rob Newman told Cambridge's website.
"He's lost his way a little bit recently but he wants to do well and I think we're fortunate to get him here."
Pitt began his career at Chelsea before spending three years at Portsmouth and then joining Boston in the summer of 2004.
He scored five goals in 34 league and cup appearances for the Pilgrims.
