Cambridge's first-choice goalkeeper John Ruddy is having a further trial with Manchester United. The 18-year-old spent a few days training with the Premiership giants earlier this month and will play for their reserves on Wednesday.
"He's up there for them to have a good look at him," Cambridge's caretaker assistant manager Ricky Duncan told the club's website.
Ruddy was part of England's U-19 squad last week but had to pull out with flu.
