AFC Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman has said he is impressed with the new management team at Dean Court.
Caretaker boss and former player Eddie Howe and assistants Jason Tindall and Joe Roach saw their team lose 2-1 at Darlington in their first game.
But Pitman told BBC Radio Solent: "All three are tactically switched on, the lads will work ever so hard for them.
"We all respect them greatly, the continuity's good and all three have got a lot to give."
Howe, 31, was handed the job on a caretaker basis after previous boss Jimmy Quinn was sacked on New Year's Eve.
Chief executive Alastair Saverimutto has said that Howe is the front runner for the job on a permanent basis.
