McGoldrick has impressed Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond |
Bournemouth have signed Plymouth midfielder Luke Summerfield on loan, and also extended Southampton forward David McGoldrick's loan spell. Summerfield, 19, will stay at Dean Court for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old McGoldrick, who has scored two goals in his first six appearances for the Cherries, will spend a second month with them.
"David has helped us win three games and hopefully he can go on to help us win some more," boss Kevin Bond said.
"You can never have too many good players."
McGoldrick's second month will last until after Bournemouth's game at Nottingham Forest on 21 April - while the deal could be extended until the end of the season if Saints agree.
Summerfield, son of ex-Plymouth assistant manager Kevin Summerfield, recently spent a week training with Premiership champions Chelsea - along with fellow Argyle teenager Dan Gosling.
