Birmingham City have extended the loan of midfielder Nigel Quashie from West Ham for a further month.
The 30-year-old has been at St. Andrew's since October and has made 10 appearances for Blues.
Quashie will be available until the game against Cardiff on January 17 and has also been given permission to play in the FA Cup tie with Wolves.
Quashie joined the Hammers from West Brom in January 2007 but saw his time at Upton Park ruined by injury.
The Scotland international missed 19 months because of a persistent foot problem and joined Birmingham initially on a trial basis to prove his fitness.
West Ham are happy for Quashie to become cup-tied after allowing him to play against Wolves in Blues' third round tie on Saturday 3 January.
