Bath City utility player Scott Bartlett has left the club by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old felt unable to guarantee he could play full-time for the Blue Square Bet Premier newcomers, due to his work commitments.
Since signing from Weston-super-Mare in February, Bartlett made four starts for the Romans but his season was blighted by a shoulder injury.
Manager Adie Britton said the player, who was on an 18-month contract, left with the club's "best wishes".
