Chamakh helped Bordeaux to this season's Champions League quarter-finals

Arsenal have announced the signing of Bordeaux's Moroccan international striker Marouane Chamakh on an unspecified long-term deal.

The 26-year-old had been strongly linked with the Gunners since last summer and is available on a free transfer from June.
