Savage will not play again under Toshack |
Wales outcast Robbie Savage has re-ignited his feud with manager John Toshack by calling for him to resign. Savage has made himself unavailable for his country since falling out with Toshack over two years ago.
And the Blackburn midfielder, 32, told BBC 5live: "I honestly feel that Wales are going nowhere."
But former Wales captain Barry Horne defended Toshack saying the problems lie deeper than his management and pointed the finger at the players.
Savage said he would only consider playing again if someone else was in charge and also hit out at Toshack's selection process.
"John has been in the job three years and he said to judge him after the European qualifying campaign and we're second from bottom," he said.

"You've got players like John Oster and Danny Collins playing regularly in the Premier League and they can't get in the squad. It's amazing."
Collins, though, has asked not to be considered for selection in order to concentrate on cementing his place at Sunderland, while Oster has started only one game for Reading this season.
And Horne said: "John Toshack is hamstrung in many ways through not having a massive amount of quality to choose from.
"Then that's even further hampered by the fact he doesn't seem to be able to rely on the people he would be depending on like the lads who play in the Premier League.
"He doesn't seem to even be able to rely on them to turn up nevermind turning in a performance.
"So all is not well with Welsh football regardless of whether we beat San Marino on Wednesday."
