Striker Nathan McConnell has become a target for Glenavon after deciding to reject a new contract at Cliftonville. The former Lisburn Distillery frontman had appeared in some of Cliftonville's pre-season games but has opted to leave Solitude after two and a half years.
Cliftonville admitted they were disappointed as they believed McConnell had agreed to sign a new contract.
Glenavon boss Colin Malone said he was interested in talking to McConnell about a move to Mourneview Park.
