 Gary Smyth turned down a new contract at Ballymena United |
Ballymena United captain Gary Smyth has rejoined his old club Glentoran after turning down the offer of a new contract with the Sky Blues. It will be the central defender's third spell with the east Belfast Glens.
Ballymena striker Rory Hamill is also expected to leave the Showgrounds after being placed on the transfer list by United manager Tommy Wright.
Limavady United defender Aaron Callaghan has agreed to join Ballymena as boss Wright rebuilds his squad.
