Institute manager Liam Beckett
Liam Beckett raises a smile after his side's 4-0 win
Institute chalked up their first home win of the season with a devastating first-half show against Armagh City at the Riverside Stadium.

Although Armagh started well the game turned in the home side's favour after 18 minutes when George Ngoma opened the scoring.

Gareth Sproule fired in another before a Mullan strike assured that all the points were staying at Drumahoe.

Mullan collected his second goal in the second half to wrap up proceedings.

Institute's opener came about through the work of Declan Devin who fed Ngoma to rifle home a shot from 20 yards.

Two minutes later Mullan saw a shot blocked by goalkeeper Paul Rice, but Sproule banged in the rebound.

On the half-hour Devin again made the running for Mullan to side foot the ball past Rice for number three.

Mullan was again on target in the 58th minute when he buried the ball into the net after a good run from Ryan McIlmoyle.

It good have been worse for Armagh as both Sproule and Mullan rattled the woodwork with vicious drives.
