 Gill is Liam Beckett's first signing as Institute boss |
Institute have signed former Derry City
midfielder Gerard Gill and is new boss Liam Beckett's first signing since he took over in November. Beckett held talks with the Greencastle teenager last weekend and again earlier this week at the Riverside Stadium.
Gill was released by the Candystripes following the conclusion of the 2005 Eircom League season last month when they finished runners-up to Cork City.
Gill was a free agent and an attractive proposition for the Drumahoe side.
