Ballymena United's Eddie Hill drilled in a 79th minute equaliser to earn a useful point away to Institute. The Drumahoe club had led from the 24th minute when recent signing Damien Whitehead scored his first goal in an Institute shirt.
The former Omagh Town and Finn Harps midfielder netted after Gareth Sproule had played the ball across goal.
Hill scored the leveller after an initial Jamie Marks effort had been blocked by keeper Ciaran McLaughlin.
