Cliftonville 0-1 Portadown
| Arkins (right) headed Portadown's winner in the 93rd minute | Vinny Arkins' injury-time goal kept alive Portadown's slim hopes of winning the Daily Mirror Irish League title. A dismal encounter seemed certain to end in a scoreless draw but Arkins headed a Peter McCann cross to the net in the 93rd minute. The only real chance of the opening half was a Gary Hamilton effort which was saved by Paul Stranney's legs. Portadown remain eight points behind Linfield but they have a game in hand on the leaders.
