Kerzhakov pays tribute to Antonio Puerta after scoring |
Two first-half goals from Luis
Fabiano helped Sevilla qualify for the Champions League group stage with a 4-1 victory at AEK Athens. The match had been postponed from last week following the death of Sevilla player Antonio Puerta.
Prior to the game, supporters clapped when a video tribute for Puerta was shown in the stadium and there was also a minute's silence.
Seydou Keita and Alexander Kerzhakov also scored in the 6-1 aggregate win.
Rivaldo popped in a consolation goal from the penalty spot after team-mate Gustavo Manduca had a penalty saved by Andres Palop earlier in the game.
Sevilla will now join Premier League side Arsenal, Slavia Prague and Steaua Bucharest in Group H of the Champions League.
Meanwhile, AEK Athens drop into the Uefa Cup where they will play Salzburg in the opening round.
