Loan duo Lee Holmes and Kevin Betsy helped maintain Walsall's promotion push as they edged past Yeovil. Town were not helped when defender Craig Alcock was forced to go in goal after an injury to Steve Mildenhall.
And Alcock was beaten in the 67th minute when Holmes swept in Betsy's cross from inside the area.
Yeovil battled hard but were finished off in the 90th minute when Betsy pounced on the loose ball after Alex Nicholls's shot had been blocked.
