Warwickshire open the defence of their County Championship title in 2005 with a home match against Glamorgan on 13 April. The champions will have already warmed up for the new season against the MCC at Lord's on 8 April.
Overwhelming favourites in Division Two will be Lancashire, with star spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and Australian batsman Brad Hodge at their disposal.
It has also been announced that each county will play three more Twenty20 cups matches in the group stage.
