County Championship D1, Canterbury, day one: Kent 245 v Leicestershire 101-3 (close)
Wickets tumbled on the first day at Canterbury as Kent launched their Championship campaign.
The home side won the toss and elected to bat but were made to rue the decision when they were all out for 245.
Australian Greg Blewett top scored with 57 and opener Michael Carberry made 55.
Leicestershire's Charlie Dagnall did the damage with the ball, claiming 3-43 off 14 overs.
Leicestershire were reduced to 48-3 early on with stand-in Kent captain Mark Ealham taking two wickets.
But at the end of the day's play, the visitors had rallied to 101-3.
