Newcastle Red Bulls are to bring in Brandon Jackson from Saracens as part of their squad for next season.

Jackson, who can play in the centre or on the wing, has agreed a two-year contract to move to Kingston Park.

The 6ft 3ins 24-year-old has scored 13 tries in 29 games for Sarries, including three this season, although he has only featured in two Prem matches.

"Brandon is a talented English player who will add to our group, and we're looking forward to working with him," said, external Newcastle sporting general manager Neil McIlroy.

"He scores tries on a regular basis, he's a big physical presence and it's great that aspiring players like him see Newcastle Red Bulls as a club where they can fulfil their ambitions."

Jackson's signing makes it 16 new players who will be joining Red Bulls for next season.

Of those, nine have come from other Prem clubs, headed by scrum-half Raffi Quirke joining from Sale Sharks, with seven from abroad including New Zealand forward Hoskins Sotutu and Fiji winger Joji Nasova.
