Northampton's teenage wing Edoardo Todaro has been rewarded for his prolific breakthrough campaign with a place in Italy's Six Nations squad.
The 19-year-old, who won his only cap to date off the bench in the Azzurri's 34-19 win over Chile in November, is part of a 33-strong group who will prepare to take on Scotland in Rome on 7 February.
Todaro has scored nine tries in 12 games for Saints this season since making his first-team debut in September and was voted the Prem's player of the month for October.
Paolo Odogwu, who was part of England's 2021 Six Nations squad under Eddie Jones without winning a cap, is also included in Italy's squad.
The 28-year-old, who can play on the wing or in midfield, moved to Stade Francais and then Benetton after Wasps folded in 2022. Six of his seven Italy caps came before and during Italy's miserable 2023 Rugby World Cup run.

Italy are without Toulouse's Ange Capuozzo, who fractured a finger in December, along with fly-half Tommaso Allan and back rows Sebastian Negri and Ross Vintcent, who are also suffering with injuries.
Michele Lamaro will captain the side for a fourth successive Six Nations, while flanker Samuele Locatelli and centre Damiano Mazza are the uncapped members of the squad.
"At two years out from a World Cup, a little less now, having the chance to bring in some other players, new players, is also an opportunity," said head coach Gonzalo Quesada.
"So that's how we look at it. We never focus too much on what we're missing. We look instead at everything we have and everything we can control."
After taking on Scotland, who lost 31-29 on their last visit to Rome in 2024, in the opening round, Italy travel to Ireland and France, welcome England to the Stadio Olimpico and then conclude their campaign away to Wales in Cardiff.
