Leicester Tigers flanker Dominic Ryan has been stood down for 12 weeks following repeated concussions.

Ryan underwent a head injury assessment during Tigers' win at Harlequins on 23 September, after previously appearing to take a head knock when tackling George North, external in defeat at Northampton.

The 27-year-old has missed Leicester's last two games and will now not be considered for selection.

Ryan joined Tigers from Leinster in the summer and has made four appearances.
