Nine-try Worcester outclassed Bucuresti in their Challenge Cup Pool One clash.

Florin Vlaicu gave Bucuresti a brief lead but a penalty try, two from Marcel Garvey and one from Nile Dacres sealed the bonus point in a first half that saw the visitors twice reduced to 14.

Aleki Lutui and Chris Pennell went over after the interval before the visitors hit back with Valentine Popirlan's try.

Josh Drauniniu added the pick of the bunch before Miles Benjamin and Jake Abbott rounded off the rout.

Worcester head coach Richard Hill told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

Worcester have kept the group alive - Hill

"Without getting too irate at half-time we had a quiet word to say we needed to be a little bit more clinical in their 22.

"Then we scored after only 23 seconds of the second half so I think they made the point very firmly to the coaching staff.

"We spread the tries out - nine tries with one penalty try and I think Marcel [Garvey] got two and six others got over so that was a nice little confidence booster ahead of the Leicester game."
