Leinster have announced a hat-trick of new signings to bolster their squad.

The Irish province have snapped up Natal Sharks second row Steven Sykes on a three-year deal and the lock forward will link up with Leinster this summer.

Connacht tighthead prop Jamie Hagan has also agreed a three-year contract while Canterbury Crusaders fly-half Matt Berquist has signed a one-year deal with an option to extend.

Leinster coach Joe Schmidt is happy with the signings.

"We are pleased to have secured all three players and I am sure that they will prove to be strong additions to the side over the coming seasons," said Schmidt.
