Long-serving Smith to leave Leeds at end of season

Cameron Smith is set to leave Leeds Rhinos at the end of the 2026 Super League season.
Smith, 27, made his debut for Leeds in 2016 and has gone on to play more than 150 games for the Rhinos.
The loose forward was captain up until this season with Ash Handley taking on that role and a testimonial was held for Smith at AMT Headingley on Saturday.
"This was a big decision for me to make; I have spent my entire career at the Rhinos," Smith told the club's website., external
"It was special last week to reflect on my decade at the club and it has been great to be back on the field after my injury last year.
"I am pleased to have my future decided and I have no distraction ahead of a big year with the Rhinos in 2026."
