Three-time British speedway champion Chris Harris is to continue his career in 2026 after agreeing a new deal with King's Lynn Stars.

The Cornishman, who joined amateur club St Austell Gulls as a 15-year-old in 1998, joined the Stars from Oxford Cheetahs for the 2025 season.

Harris ended the Premiership campaign with a 6.70 average and also won his second World Long Track silver medal.

Now 43, he said: "As a rider I don't like to keep jumping between different clubs, so it's great to be settled and have a second season at King's Lynn."

He added: "The aim of course is to win the league, and the club are certainly ambitious. The team they're talking about is very exciting and I'm really looking forward to being a part of it, and hopefully we can fulfil the goals that the club deserve."

King's Lynn won half of their 24 league meetings in 2025 and finished fifth in the table, seven points outside the play-off places.

Their last major success was in the 2017 Premiership Pairs.
