Kilcoo hold on to win their first Ulster Club Football title and it's unbridled joy from the Down club's players and their supporters at the finish. Anthony Thompson's towering point on 58 minutes had left the minimum between the team but the outstanding Daryl Branagan doubled the lead a minute later with Kilcoo's first score since his 39th-minute goal. Branagan finished to the net after a delightful passing move but the Donegal side responded with Brendan McDyer, Ciaran Thompson (two) and Ethan O'Donnell scores to cut the margin to only two after 51 minutes. A Ryan McEvoy free and Conor Laverty point had increased Kilcoo's lead to three after the resumption. That came after we had three goals in a seeming flash before half-trime at Omagh. Aidan Branagan palmed into an empty net to almost seemingly put Kilcoo out of sight at 1-8 to 0-4 ahead but Naomh Conaill struck back immediately with a Charlie McGuinness goal. Two minutes later, Naomh Conaill's Jeaic McKelvey blasted soccer style into the roof of the net after yet another long delivery. That salvo all came after Ethan O'Donnell hit a badly-needed score for Naomh Conaill to cut Kilcoo's lead to four.
