Earlier today Sheffield Hatters beat Sevenoaks Suns 62-60 to win the WBBL Cup final and it was all thanks to Helen Naylor's three-pointer with less than a second of the game remaining.

Ladarius Tabb is one of the players to watch in the BBL Cup final in Birmingham this weekend.

The 25-year-old Alabama native averages this season and has made his mark in his debut season in the top flight in this country after joining Lions from his previous club Arantia Larochette of Luxembourg, where he scored more than 900 points in just 33 games.

“He’s been huge. He’s a walking bundle of energy,” says Lions’ GB guard Justin Robinson. “He’s always moving.

“He crashes the offensive boards and also gets out in transition. Defensively, he gives off a different dynamic with his athleticism. His numbers speaks for themselves - he’s been a huge help for us this season.”

Tabb's 17.6 points and nine rebounds per game for Lions place him in the top 10 in both categories.

London Lions' Justin Robinson wants his team to treat Sunday's BBL Cup Final against Glasgow Rocks 'like any other game'.

London Lions and Glasgow Rocks are not exactly used to claiming major honours - with each club only boasting one piece of silverware in their trophy cabinet.

The Lions' finest hour came in the 2008 BBL Cup final, when, as the Milton Keynes Lions, they beat Newcastle Eagles 69-66.

It has been a long wait for another crack at a major trophy, but the Lions are on a role, currently leading the Championship and aiming for a potential league and cup double.

Glasgow, who claimed their only major prize in the 2003 Play-offs and are struggling to make this year's end-of-season party, have endured a love-hate relationship with the BBL Cup, making five previous finals and losing each one.

This will be their third appearance in the showpiece in the past five campaigns, but with their focus firmly fixed on this prize could they finally end the hoodoo?
