Cardiff Devils overwhelm visiting Glasgow Clan

Cardiff Devils cruised to a 5-1 Elite League victory over Glasgow Clan at the Vindico Arena on Sunday.

Joey Martin and Kohen Olischefski goals gave Devils a tidy lead in the first period, with Brett Perlini stretching the lead early in the second.

Perlini struck again to add a fourth Devils score, although Steven Seigo did stop the one-way traffic before the end of the second to make it 4-1.

A sometimes fractious final period saw a stream of penalties, although Ryan Barrow added a fifth home goal to round off a comprehensive victory.

However, with leaders Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers both also winning on Sunday the top three stay unchanged.

On Saturday, Devils had beaten Belfast Giants 2-1.
