
Nottingham Panthers are close to completing the signing of Czech Republic winger Petr Kalus.
The 26-year-old, a second-round draft pick by the Boston Bruins in the NHL in 2005, has agreed terms and the paperwork needs to be finalised to face Sheffield Steelers this weekend.
Head coach Corey Neilson told the club website: , external"He's a strong skater and one report says he hits like a truck.
"He works hard and knows what we're expecting of him."
