Pras touched on it before, but if you don't captain Erling Haaland this week, then who else could you hand the armband to?

It's risky, especially after Haaland found his scoring boots again in midweek, but as Pras said, there are decent alternatives.

    Over to you Thomas Woods...

  2. Double up on Arsenal defence?published at 16:29 GMT

James: Can I trust the Arsenal defence and double up on them?

Pras: Arsenal continue to remain the best defence in the league in terms of underlying data. Add to that the threat their defenders pose on corners. I think it is definitely viable to double up in defence.

  3. 'Not stupid to go without Haaland'published at 16:26 GMT

Jeuel: I'm going to wildcard this week. I think I'm parting ways with Haaland. With the extra funds I could really bolster my midfield and defensive options. Will I regret it?

Pras: With Haaland, a big part of it is captaincy. I think over the coming weeks there are decent viable alternatives, such as Bruno Fernandes, Saka and even Palmer. It’s risky, but not stupid to go without Haaland until GW31.

Nolberto: Best gameweek option with less than 10% ownership?

Pras: Despite a bit of resurgence in the Wolves defence, I am going to pick 3%-owned Evanilson this week. He has scored 3 goals in his last 4 league games and is tasked with spearheading the Bournemouth attack with Semenyo's departure. He may even take penalties, now that Tavernier is injured.

  5. Chalobah over James?published at 16:18 GMT

Tommy: Is Reece James a good option going forward? He is a points threat when playing, however I feel like he rotates with Gusto too often. The fact Chelsea are still in Europe may only make this worse. Any better options or go with James?

Pras: James is a decent pick and his minutes have improved. However, if going for a defender from Chelsea I feel Chalobah has a higher chance of starting most PL games and offers the potential for extra defensive contribution points as well.

  6. When is best to bench boost?published at 16:15 GMT

    FPL Q&A with Pras

Ross: First weekend for a long time where my whole squad is fit. So, is it worth using the Bench Boost chip or saving it this weekend?

Pras: General rule of thumb for me is 15 points. If you think your bench can score that this week, then play it. I do think a Bench Boost later with a couple of double gameweek players on the bench could be quite profitable as well.

  8. BBC Sport's differential pick?published at 16:12 GMT

    Brian Brobbey, Sunderland, £5.5m - Burnley (h)

He's an in-form striker, at a budget price with a very tasty fixture.

Three goals in four games for the Dutchman and he will be a popular choice on wildcards this week.

If you need a cheap alternative to Ollie Watkins, BBC Sport's Thomas Woods has a differential proposition that might be worth a consideration...

Keith: Already used my free transfer on Frimpong to Chalaboh. Wanted Palmer + Pedro/Evanilson in for Haaland/Miley but Watkins' injury throws a spanner in the works. Should I avoid a hit, prioritise Watkins out for Pedro/Evanilson or go -8 to afford Palmer + Pedro/Evanilson?

Pras: I wouldn't go -8 for Palmer to be honest. Yes, he is fit, but we don't know how fit. Can he play more than 60 minutes? Will Chelsea protect him for the Carabao Cup semi-final a few days later? I'd just do the Watkins move.

  11. Keep hold of Watkins?published at 16:04 GMT

Jamie: I went early and have no transfers left and need to replace Watkins. Would a minus 4 for Evanilson or Ekitike be worth it.

Pras: Watkins' injury doesn't sound too major. If you have a good first sub this week, then perhaps holding would be wise. You could have more flexibility with 2 FTs [free transfers] to do other moves. We would also have confirmation on which of Arsenal or Chelsea have a double gameweek in GW26.

They've just beaten the best and second-best teams in the league, scoring five goals in the process?

Is it time to jump on Manchester United assets?

There are plenty to choose from and two make this team of the week for gameweek 24.

The team of the week is selected based on current FPL prices to fit within a £100m budget, as if you were playing a Free Hit.

Daniel: Is Foden and Gordon to Bruno Fernandes and Enzo worth it for a -4 hit?

Pras: Tricky one this. I am tempted to say save the hit and just do Foden to Bruno for 1 free transfer. But if the Enzo move is needed to fund the first move, then I'd say go for it.

  16. Evanilson or Mbeumo?published at 15:53 GMT

    FPL Q&A with Pras

    Bryan MbeumoImage source, Getty Images

Jack: Who would you prefer to own for the long term, Evanilson or Mbeumo? I’m looking to buy one this week, but Mbeumo would involve a -4.

Pras: Often when comparing these things, we must also account for who we are selling. But assuming all the players involved here are "sells" then I think I prefer Mbeumo just for the extremely strong underlying data, the upturn in Man Utd's performance, and his "out of position" potential.

Cush: Is Petrovic a must sell now that Bournemouth have a new GK? Who is going to be first choice?

Pras: I am not sure if Mandas is immediately going to take Petrovic's place, but with any new signing we are a little bit in the dark here. I would say, if you have an able deputy like Dubravka then why not give it a week and see? Bournemouth fixtures are otherwise very good from here on, so it would be a shame to sell just when some clean sheets do return.

  18. Should you bring in Enzo Fernandez?published at 15:46 GMT

G: Hi Pras, I have a midfield of Semenyo, Rice, Rogers, Fernandes, Wilson but would like to squeeze in Enzo. Who comes out? Thanks

Pras: To be honest with you, no one. These are all solid picks and none of them need fixing. Perhaps save a free transfer and see how you feel next week?
