Portsmouth defender Conor Shaughnessy could miss months of the Championship season due to injury.
BBC Radio Solent reports that the centre-back has sustained a significant muscle injury that could keep him out of the side for a substantial period.
Shaughnessy, 29, has only made nine appearances for the Blues in the league so far this season, missing a large portion of the campaign with a hamstring issue.
He joined the Blues from Burton in the summer of 2023 and has since made 68 appearances, scoring six goals.
