Boss Michael Skubala says Lincoln City hit "electric" new heights in Tuesday's victory against League One promotion rivals Bradford City.

The 3-0 win at the LNER Stadium extended the second-placed Imps' unbeaten league run to 11 game and ensured they remain six points clear of Bolton Wanderers, who sit immediately below them and just outside the automatic promotion spots.

First-half goals from Freddie Draper and Jack Moylan had Lincoln in control at half-time against the Bantams before Ben House came off the bench to complete the dominant victory.

"It's not very often you can sit down and just enjoy your team playing because they are doing everything you planned for," Skubala told BBC Radio Lincolnshire.

"The result is important, you want to win and get the three points, but I thought the performance in the first half was electric. It was probably the best I've seen us play.

"And in the second half, it was just a dominant and professional performance.

"They are a sensational group to work with. They are playing with a little bit of freedom at time and being effective with it."

Skubala said the match against Bradford, a side that had long maintained its place among the high-flyers before their recent downturn in form, was a "big game" in their push for promotion even if it was "only worth three points" like any other match.

Those points keep Lincoln within four points of leaders Cardiff City and well-placed in their quest for promotion to the Championship – a level that the club has not played at for 65 years.

"On a day when you wanted to be on it, we were really on it," Skubala said of the win against Bradford.

"Everyone knew it would be a big game here and I just thought we blew them away.

"We keep churning and keep going and keep putting points on the board."
