Goalkeeper Josh Vickers has extended his contract with Derby County, signing a new deal that runs until the summer of 2029.

The 30-year-old came through the Arsenal academy before spells at Swansea, Barnet, Lincoln City, and Rotherham United.

Vickers arrived at Pride Park from Rotherham in the summer of 2023, making 12 appearances in all competitions as the Rams were promoted into the Championship the following year.

He featured on seven occasions last season and won the club's 2024-25 save of the season in a crucial victory against West Bromwich Albion which helped them avoid relegation to League One.
