Shrewsbury Town's battling point against League Two leaders Walsall showed they have nothing to fear in their attempt to move further away from the relegation zone, says defender Tom Anderson.
Town's point, secured by a first Salop goal by centre-back Anderson, took them two points clear of second-from-bottom Bristol Rovers and continued their encouraging run of league form that has included only two defeats in the past 10 games.
"It was a good point and we were slightly disappointed we didn't come away with more," Anderson, 32, told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"Walsall are a very good, organised team and we knew it was going to be a battle and we did that well.
"We were aggressive and we need to be more like that."

After a difficult start to the League Two season that brought only one win in their first 10 games, Shrewsbury have found some consistency in the last three months and have stretched their unbeaten run to four matches.
Boss Michael Appleton has called on his squad to use their draw against the Saddlers as the standard they need to reach going forward.
And Anderson was emphatic about Town feeling they can mix it with the best in the division.
"100% - we respect every team in this league - there are some good sides - but we don't fear anybody," he said.
"We've got to come out and play our game and be confident and on the front foot - and against Walsall we showed what we can do.
"It's a cliche but if you can't win the game, make sure you don't lose it and those points can add up.
"We just need to keep building and keep getting better."
