Reading winger Randell Williams has signed a new 18-month contract extension with the League One club.

The 29-year-old initially joined the Royals on a short-term deal in November, making eight appearances in all competitions.

His new deal goes through to the end of the 2026-2027 season.

Williams scored his first goal for the club in the 3–0 victory away at Blackpool, celebrating with his trademark somersault in front of the travelling Reading supporters.

The former Exeter, Bolton Wanderers and Leyton Orient player's arrival has coincided with Reading's impressive push up the table.

After a poor start to the season, the Royals have climbed up to ninth, four points off the top six.
