Scott and Le Tissier win top Guernsey sports award

Footballers Maya Le Tissier and Alex Scott have jointly won the Guernsey Sports Commission's top award for 2025.
The pair won the Outstanding Performer of the Year award - the first time in its 23-year history that it has been shared.
Manchester United captain Le Tissier continued to be included in England squads last year, while Bournemouth midfielder Scott got his first call-up to the senior national side.
He was also part of the England Under 21 side that won the European Championships in June.

Chloe Bown won 11 medals at the Island Games
Teenage swimmer Chloe Bown won the award for Outstanding Individual Sporting Achievement of the year by a woman.
She won seven gold medals, as well as two silver and two bronze medals, to be the most decorated athlete at the 2025 Island Games in Orkney.
It was the second of two awards that Bown won, as the women's swimming team were named Team of the Year.
Meanwhile racing driver Seb Priaulx won the award for Outstanding Individual Sporting Achievement of the year by a man.
He won two races and had four podiums in the IMSA Sports Car Championship in the United States.
