Swindon Town's James Ball says he and his team-mates are happy "to do each other's jobs" after being asked to play in different positions in recent matches.
The midfielder was selected at right-back by manager Ian Holloway in Swindon's 1-0 win over Crawley Town, after being deployed as one of three starting centre-backs in their previous match at Bristol Rovers.
"It's obviously been a bit of a change, somewhere I've never played before, but if the manager's asking me to go there, and if it's my chance to get back in the team coming back from injury, then I'll take it and hopefully I'm doing that," Ball told BBC Radio Wiltshire.
"When we're doing it in training, we'll do analysis on our own performances and then we'll go out on the pitch and do it as well.
"Everyone's kind of seeing what everyone else is doing, so I guess we know each other's roles, so that when we are asked to change, it's not completely alien to us.
"Snowy's [Joe Snowdon] come in at right wing-back and he's been magnificent, we've got Jamie Knight-Lebel playing middle centre-half, I'm playing right of a back three, right-back," added the 30-year-old.
"We're all just ready to do each other's jobs and do it to the best of our ability and at the minute it's working."
