Preston North End and Hull City have been charged by the Football Association for failing to control their players and technical staff in their recent Championship game.

There was a brawl deep into injury time of the game at Deepdale - that the visitors won 3-0 - sparked by a red card for North End's Milutin Osmajic.

The Montenegro forward, 26, was sent off for a headbutt on Tigers midfielder John Lundstram.

While he was walking off, there was an ensuing melee for which Preston first-team coach Peter Murphy and Hull's goalkeeping coach, Erbil Bozkurt, were also sent off.

Both clubs have until this Wednesday, 28 January, to respond.
