Cirino extends Gillingham deal to end of season

Gillingham defender Lenni Cirino has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old left-back joined the Gills on a short-term deal in the summer and will now see out the campaign with Gareth Ainsworth's side who are currently14th in League Two.
The Montserrat international started in the Blackburn Rovers' academy before leaving Ewood Park in the summer of 2024.
He has made nine appearances for Gillingham, scoring on one occasion but has not played since November after suffering an injury.
"There was no other place where I wanted to be," Cirino told the club website., external "The fans have been brilliant with me when I've played and all of the boys are great.
"I am feeling good; I am back on the grass and progressing very well so it shouldn't be too long before I am back on the pitch."
