Accrington Stanley defender Farrend Rawson has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal with the League Two club.
Rawson, 29, had a loan spell with Stanley in the 2017-18 season but made a permanent move to the Wham Stadium from Morecambe in July 2024.
Since then the central defender has made himself a key component in the Accrington backline, making 65 appearances in all competitions and scoring two goals.
Manager John Doolan told the club website, external that securing the long-term signing of Rawson was "massive" for the Lancashire outfit.
"He has the attributes you want in a League Two player," Doolan said. "He is dominant in both boxes. He has got physicality, he is dominant in the air, he can pass a ball, and he is quick.
"It's massive to have Faz signed up. Everyone sees what he gives on the pitch, but what they don't see is day-to-day, on the training field. He is an unbelievable lad and he deserves everything that's coming to him."
