Manchester United pair Sekou Kone and Harry Amass were not involved in Tuesday night's under-21 win over Sporting.

Kone has had a disrupted season after suffering concussion during a National League Cup tie in August.

He did start two games just before Christmas but is currently training at another Ineos-owned club, Lausanne, as part of a potential loan move.

Kone is not registered to play yet. It is not expected that situation will change before Saturday's Swiss League encounter with Grasshoppers as Lausanne are yet to make a final decision over the 19-year-old Mali youth international.

Meanwhile, a decision is still to be made on Amass, who has returned to United from Sheffield Wednesday and is the subject of significant interest from across the Championship.

A return to Wednesday has not been completely discounted, but other clubs, including Stoke City and Watford, where Amass started his career, are among the rivals for his services.
