Exeter City defender Luca Woodhouse says he is "buzzing" after scoring his first senior goal.
The 21-year-old scored in the third minute of stoppage time as the Grecians drew 2-2 at Reading in League One.
The point extended Exeter's unbeaten run in the league to six matches, although they slipped a place to 11th in the table.
"It was a surreal feeling to be honest," the summer signing, who had never played in the English Football League before joining Exeter, told BBC Radio Devon.
"It hit the back of the net and I just thought 'I guess it's in now, I've got to go celebrate'.
"I was buzzing, especially in front of the fans, it was amazing.
"It makes it a lot nicer that I've got the equaliser and we've got the point, which is the most important thing."
Woodhouse has had to bide his time for his chance to break into the Exeter City line-up.
He made his first start in the Carabao Cup loss at Cheltenham Town in August, but did not start a league game until the 2-1 defeat at Bolton Wanderers on 13 December.
He has since gone on to be a regular in the Exeter defence with his time in the side coinciding with an upturn in form that has seen the Grecians lose just one of their past eight League One matches.
"He ended up having to change positions tonight in that second half and I think that shows the versatility of him, the game understanding," Exeter first-team coach Dan Green said.
"He's a really intelligent footballer, but also a huge credit to the physicality that he's got, being able to go up into midfield and change positions and then that moment of real quality, we know he's got an outstanding left foot.
"I think he shows the best of what this club does, it gives players opportunity, it tries to develop them and then it's fantastic to see them take that opportunity like he has."
