Amorim looking ahead to ultimate footballing Roses clash

- Published
I am not sure if Ruben Amorim's knowledge of English history extends to the War of the Roses but if so, he will know it is the foundation of the rivalry between Leeds United and Manchester United.
In the modern day, there is something special about the cricket battles between Yorkshire and Lancashire, but in a football sense, despite there being many sides from both counties, meetings between the teams from Elland Road and Old Trafford are standalones.
Both clubs' supporters chant about the other, even when they are not in the same league.
Leeds' stadium will be a cauldron on Sunday.
Amorim knows all about derby matches - he played for Benfica against Sporting and managed the other way round - but I suspect he will be told anyway about the reception he can expect from the moment Manchester United's team coach arrives at the ground.
Manchester United's head coach will be looking ahead to the fixture at 13:30 GMT on Friday.
Come back to this page later on for all the key lines from Amorim.
