Midfielder Ryan Finnigan is to return to parent club Blackpool with immediate effect after his loan spell with Walsall was cut short.
The 22-year-old joined the Saddlers from the League One club on a season-long loan in August and has made 26 appearances across all competitions, contributing four goals and three assists.
Finnigan won the League Two Player of the Month award for November after scoring three times and helping Walsall win all four league games in that month.
His final appearance for the club came in the 2-0 defeat at Cambridge on New Year's Day.
Meanwhile, Emil Hansson has left the club following the termination of his season-long loan from Championship side Birmingham City.
The 27-year-old made 24 appearances for the club with his most recent coming against Carlisle on 7 December and has signed for Eredivisie side Excelsior Rotterdam.
