Jake Taylor has left National League side Truro City by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old former Morecambe and Port Vale player joined the Tinners in the summer, having missed the 2024-25 season with injury.

He was a regular in the City side in the opening month of the season but a hamstring strain in the 3-0 win over Boston United on 30 August saw him sidelined for almost a month.

He returned three weeks later as a substitute in the 4-0 loss at Scunthorpe United but made just one further league appearance.

In total, he played 11 times for Truro in all competitions, starting six times.
