Dutch centre-back Matthijs de Ligt scored his first goal for Juventus since his £67.5m summer arrival from Ajax
Matthijs de Ligt scored his first Juventus goal as Maurizio Sarri's side returned to the top of Serie A with a hard-fought derby victory over Torino.
It took until the 70th minute for the opener to arrive as £67.5m signing De Ligt reacted quickest to a corner.
Cristiano Ronaldo twice went close in the first half, while Salvatore Sirigu denied Gonzalo Higuain's spectacular volley prior to De Ligt's breakthrough.
Torino's Gleison Bremer had a stoppage-time equaliser ruled out for offside.
Juventus reclaim top from Inter Milan after Romelu Lukaku's late double - including a 90th-minute penalty - had earlier seen the Nerazzurri come from behind to beat Bologna 2-1.
