Southend United 0-3 Rochdale

Frustrated Southend fans called for manager Kevin Bond to go as the Shrimpers lost 3-0 at home to Rochdale - to suffer their sixth straight League One defeat of the season..

Two goals in as many first-half minutes from Ian Henderson and Aaron Morley at Roots Hall set Dale on their way before Callum Camps added a third after the break.

Rochdale opened the scoring with a well-worked goal in the 35th minute when Jimmy Keohane's low right cross was fired home by Henderson from six yards.

Just a minute later, Dale doubled their lead when Camps diverted Rhys Norrington-Davies' left wing cross into the path of Morley, who smashed a 20-yard shot into the top left-hand corner of the net.

Camps came close to adding a third at the start of the second half before Southend hit back with Stephen Humphrys having a low shot saved by Robert Sanchez.

But Dale sealed their win in the 77th minute, when Camps converted a left wing cross from Norrington-Davies.
