Tyler Walker scored a late winner as Mansfield moved into the top three in League Two with victory over Crawley.
The match had looked destined to end goalless but Walker converted Hayden White's cross with two minutes to go.
The hosts should have taken the lead after the break when debutant Nicky Ajose fired a fine chance over the bar.
Dominic Poleon forced a good save from Stags goalkeeper Jordan Smith and Walker curled a shot just past the post before ultimately deciding the match.
