Leeds defender Pontus Jansson has been banned for one match by the Football Association for comments after their draw with Brentford on 6 October.

Jansson questioned referee Jeremy Simpson's decision to award Brentford a penalty during a live TV interview.

The 27-year-old Swede, who later apologised for his comments,, external will miss Wednesday's home game against Ipswich.

Leeds said they saw "no value in making an appeal", external against the FA's decision.
