Impressive Accrington continued their chase for automatic promotion by beating Coventry for their third successive League Two win.
Jordan Clark bagged a goal either side of the break as Stanley moved into second place with their seventh win in their last eight games.
It also condemned Coventry to a second successive defeat, which has hit Mark Robins' side hard as they slipped two points outside of the play-off spots in the process.
Looking to get back to winning ways at the first attempt, the Sky Blues were behind after five minutes as Clark tapped home unmarked after Callum Johnson found him from the right-hand side.
The pair repeated the trick on the hour to put the game to bed and seal a vital three points.
The best chance for City fell to top scorer Marc McNulty, who could only find the side-netting on the stroke of half-time.
